The thing with those ovulation tests are that they are extremely tedious. You just have to keep at it in order to find when you are ovulating. So I guess that the answer is to keep trying. I always ovulated like right after my period went off, or at least I always got pregnant within that time frame like clock work! LOL! :) So are you cycles regular because that may have an impact on your ovulation. Something else that you can do that shows signs of ovulation is to take your temperature everyday for a month and see when you temp rises. Like my normal temp is around 97 degrees so if I take my temp everyday and for 3 days my temp is like 99 degrees then most likely my ovulation occurred within those three days. Hope this helps. :)

Well, OPKs suggested use in the time frame of the average ovulation time frame, being 12-14 days after the first day of your last period. The problem is, not every woman ovulates in that time frame. You'd have to do a test every day of your cycle to know for sure.. (some women even ovulate on their period... rarely, but it happens)... and that's a lot of tests. ;0) that's why it is wise to use opks in conjunction with looking for other signs of ovulation as well... increase in cervical mucus with a egg white consistency... basal body temping (Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - FertilityFriend.com (http://www.fertilityfriend.com)) and some women get a slight crampy feeling on one side of their stomachs during ovulation. There is also the possibility that you aren't ovulating at all, or maybe even just this month. Its not uncommon for women to occasionally miss a cycle now and then without ovulating. Probably though, you just already missed your ovulation, or you haven't started yet, or you just missed it this month.
