I am looking for an inexpensive way to remove, lighten,or fade stretch marks.
Seven months ago I had my first child. I suffered from severe preclampsia and gained more than 30 pounds of water weight, which I lost in about 3-4 weeks. I have stretch marks all over. My arms, legs, breasts, feet, back, butt, hips, and my stomach.
Immediately after the delivery, I got bigger than ever and some of the stretch marks began to tear open on my hips and behind my knees. I absolutely have to do something about this. I can't even wear short sleeve shirts without feeling like a freak. Is there anything I can do?

I feel your pain. I have stretch marks everywhere on my body. I was 138lbs before I had my first son and went all the way up to 206lbs! So I began to search for inexpensive remedies also. The truth is NOTHING will get rid of them permanently. I used stupid Palmers Cocoa Butter and that didn't help me at all! I used Vitamin E capsules on my skin and it seemed to be working but it was so sticky! So needless to say I stopped using that. I want to try Revitol but that is $30 a jar. Anyway... to the point. I use Barmon Stretch Mark Cream and that is fading them well but don't get me wrong, I can still see them. I am pregnant right now (having a c-section the day after X-mas) and I am still using it to prevent new ones and it SEEMS to be helping that. Barmon is like $7 on eBay... I don't buy it anywhere else because its almost 3x as much. Hope this helps.

So far I've tried Revitol, Vit. E Oil, Trilastin, etc. for stretch mark treatment and none of these have worked. The only reliable method appears to be laser surgery. Unfortunately for us, makers of these promising treatments do not really have any products that work. Palmer's fade cream is also a waste of money. We just have to live with our marks and spots I guess. Otherwise, only cosmetic surgery is the optional answer to fix us into perfections once again.

Hey ! I don't think Trialastin sr works the same way for everyone, I think everything depends on the person. Everywhere I go I find different answers, some claim that it works, some others claim that it doesn't. Well it does work for me.
Believe me I thought it was a scam when I saw the different answers but it is not. I'm 18 years old and I have had stretch marks for over 5 years, so since the age of 13, all over my arms and I have tried skin derma pro, shea butter, cocoa butter, french creams, and that thingy called Bio oil, bunch of liars, all of them!!
I have been using trilastin sr for barely 5 days now and I thought maybe I was seeing things but it wasn't a dream, my stretch marks are fading already!! THey are less visible than they used to be 5 days ago!! But one thing you must know, my stretch marks are young they have darkened yet and I have a dark skin, so I'm black!! So I think it gives different results for everyone. I'm not sure if it will go completely, I have to wait again!! So maybe u should try one tube and see if it works and if t doesn't sennd it back to them, they will refund your money I think, I'm not sure I haven't sent them back anything yet!!

I've been using a st. ives apricot scrub and putting a mixture of aloe vera gel, extra virgin olive oil, grapeseed oil and vitamin e oil on mine and so far so good
