This is my first time to this site. Me and my other have been trying for a baby for a year. I have had lots of blood tests that seem normal so far as I have had a couple of early miscarriages.
This month we followed Deanas plan (hope you know it) and tried every other day from day 10 until day 18. I usually get a period every 28 days and am now 2 days late. I did a pregnant.test when I was 9 days post ovulation and this was negative:( . Everyone I talked to said if I was pregnant it would be positive at this stage but After a few days spotting day 8 and 9 post ovulation there is no bleeding yet. My breasts aren't tender but I am peeing overnight which I don't normally. I also feel sick. But this is very early to be sick isn't it?
I am going mad as I think it may be all in my head!
What will I do - I can't afford to waste another pregnancy test and can't get an appt with doc till after Xmas.
Are there any body changes that will tell me I am or am not pregnant?
PLEASE HELP - HAVE NO_ONE TO ASK!!

I found some pregnancy tests at the dollar store. Wow, that was a deal. One of my friends summed up pregnancy when she said "you just don't feel like yourself." But it's different for each body and each pregnancy. Having to pee at night, feeling sick, those are promising signs. You spotted though, but no period yet. Hmmm.
Have you experienced any numbness, dizziness or tingling, or a less responsive body part? I had those symptoms. I had many, many miscarriages. The doctor said it was related. But I now have two beautiful girls who were worth the waiting and the losses.

Thanks for the advice - do you think the spotting was a bad sign?
No tingling, numbness etc but I am dizzy - this can be normal I think though before my period.
It will likely arrive soon and all the mystery will be over!

It's very hard to distinguish pregnancy symptoms from those of premenstrual symptoms as they can mirror one another.
Unfortunately you are now playing the waiting game and should wait until your missed period and test a week later using first morning urine for best results.

Well I answered you other question before seeing this one...
9 days post ovulation would be too early to test for pregnancy and expect to get a positive result. So don't rule pregnancy out just because that test was negative.
I would either wait a week and take another HPT with your first morning urine, or call around to health clinics and see if you can get in for a blood test.

Well, according to the Plan, you are suppose to wait 15 days after your ovulation date to take a hpt. Either way, many women don't show positive on their pregnancy tests until 1-2 weeks after their missed period. Some don't show for months, and some never do show. Its all about hcg levels, and how sensitive the tests are. Even qualatative blood tests can be wrong, if the hcg levels are too low for them to register. Also, its not uncommon to be late or even completely miss a cycle now and then(especially when you are actively trying to conceive, as stress and high expectation can alter your cycles) so I would suggest you wait until you are 1-2 weeks late. At that point, take another blood test. If this is negative, wait for your next expected period. If you miss this again, but the test is still negative, its time to see your doctor.

You can bleed and also be pregnant1 I did a test with my second son whilst waiting for resutls I noticed I started to bleed decided to wake myself up having a shower at this time I didn't want to be pregnant so it was a relief when I got out I was about to throw test away and noticed it said positive? Why? I don't know lucky I guess thinking back. I continued to bleed lightly throughout the pregnancy noahs fine now 2yrs on no other problems just had to be careful. GOOD ,LUCK!!
