Hi, I'm having a huge problem with GIF images not showing up properly in Internet Explorer. Every time I open an IE window, any image that is a GIF is showing up as a little square with another small square inside of it that has a red square, a green circle and a blue triangle. If I right click and then click on show image, it will show up. Any ideas of how to fix this?

I have the answer to your question -- a program called JAVA script

Go to Start ---> Settings ---> Control Panel ---> ADD/REMOVE Programs

Remove Java from your computer --- download the latest version at link

java.com: Hot Games, Cool Apps (http://www.java.com/en/) Hope this fixes the problem

Stop back and let us know? Please rate my answer

Hi, thanks for taking the time to help me out. I'm having to run my computer in safe mode, because ever since this problem began, my computer will completely reboot by itself after I log in and it starts windows XP. It will not let me install JAVA in safe mode, so I am unsure what to do, I don't even know why my computer is restarting itself.

Do you know how to do a SYSTEM RESTORE? Have you downloaded any programs

That may have caused this problem? If you can restore about 1 week ago...

Hope you can restore it to a time before you got problem

Plan B scannow sfc - LEARN how to use SFC.EXE (system file checker) in this article! (http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html)
In safe mode.. do this... put Xp disc in drive... when it opens on desktop... close it..
Click on start... click on RUN... type sfc /scannow in the run box... and hit enter...

That's sfc<space>/scannow

I have tried doing a system restore, every time I do, it either doesn't do it properly or it shuts down unexpectedly. My Windows disc is not working due to moving and apparently heat warping the disc. I'm honestly at a loss. Thank you for your time, it is very appreciated.
