No she does not, what you have is "maybe a lady" could be a 70 year old man using his grand daughters photo, trying to scam you.

I bet you answered a email of someone who loved you, or was contacted tthough a dating service or instant messenger.

I get about 3 of those messages a day here, and there are people who sadly use the PM on this site to send out those letters.

And after the 4000 , he visa will be taken and she will need another 1000 to bribe this person or that. Until you figure out she is cheating you.

They have a passport and visa system where they merely apply and get them, several hundred dollars from my understanding.

Go to the US embassy web site for Ghana, the entire site is warnings about these love scams.

If someone in Ghana is trying to get you to send them $4000 in cash to come visit you in the US it's a scam. Perhaps I'm looking to far into this but there is a scam that is quite common that this sounds an awful lot like:

A nice woman starts talking to men in the US online or even on the phone and asks the person in the US to pay for them to come visit so the guy buys a plane ticket... but there is a problem, there are more fees that must be paid (and paid in cash). I don't care how nice she is when you talk online or on the phone, this person has no interest in visiting you and once she gets the $4000 cash she will disappear. She will probably even try to get the money back for the plane ticket if you bought one.
