Are you bathing regularly? Because if you aren't, then there is the possibility that it just might be dry, dead skin that is flaking off. Just a thought.

Any sort of friction, new clothing, weather changes, can affect the condition of the foreskin. Do you smoke? Have you recently tried to quit?

If you wish, try applying some lotion or cocoa butter (very small amount) and see if it helps. If not, it could be (don't be panicked) a fungal infection or something a bit more serious. If condition persists after 3 - 4 days, seek a physician.

Or, it could be that if it is the season of winter where joe24 is, he might be bathing too much. I can't bath as much in the winter because it dries my skin out way too much if I do, and I flake and itch like crazy in certain areas of my body. Applying lotion in that instance can help. But, I find that just cutting down on the bathing so much also helps. I don't need to bath as much in the winter because I am not sweating as much as in the warmer times of the year. There could also be an allergic reaction to maybe a certain laundry detergent that might be being used. There are also other possibilities as to what may be going on.
