I have the same problem as others, but with a slight difference, I need to restore my computer as I accidentally deleted the Microsoft office standard edition 2003, thinking that my comp would work faster with more memory, anyway I did this without realising that it affected a lot of my programs including Microsoft Word (I know now (stupid mistake)). Anyway to restore I need the file SKU112.CAB, every time I click on any link on my computer it says "Please wait while Microsoft Office configures....", then it doesn't work because it says that I need to clarify the OIS (original installation Source) except I don't have an OIS because it was on my computer from the very beginning so here's the dilemna I didn't get Microsoft office off a CD it was originally on my computer when I bought it, so my question is how do get Microsoft Office and/or the file Sku112.cab, except this time knowing the OIS, somebody help me! ASAP, our computer needs this immediately!

Here are your options:

1. If you bought the PC with Office preinstalled, contact the vendor to obtain replacement media. When you bought the PC, you bought a license for the software. You'll probably have to supply the serial number of the PC to the vendor. They may refer you to Microsoft for replacement media. In either case, you'll probably have to pay a small amount for the replacement media and shipping.

2. If you bought the PC second hand, try contacting the person you bought it from to see if they have the media. Else, you'll need to purchase Office 2003; you can find best prices on the software here:

Software - PriceGrabber.com (http://software.pricegrabber.com/)

3. You might be able to repair the installation with the Local Installation Source tool, if you've got the technical skills; see:

When you try to start a Microsoft Office 2003 program for the first time, you receive the "Installation Error: File not Found" error message (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896866)
