Can somebody please tell me when the belly starts to get hard when you are pregnant, or if it does. Or better yet a better question would be is what does the belly like start to feel like when you are pregnant each month? Like I'm not a skinny girl, but not huge either, but when I stand up I look preggnant, but when I sit down I feel like my boobs are sitting on my stomach I just feel fat, and I don't know for sure but if I was pregnant my calculations would have me at 9 weeks almost, I think. You see I think I conceived in like sept and I haven't had a normal period since oct. 11, I mean it comes late, not heavy at all, kind of light, and only lasts like 2 maybe 3 days, when mine usually come on time and last about 5 or 6 days, and I have had additional acts since I think I conceived in sept. and I'm having all these symptoms, like tender breast, I guess I go pee more often, really bad heartburn, gaining wieght like crazy, I mean I just want to eat eat eat, and I want to eat things I usually don't like, like TUNA!! And what do you guys mean by craving different foods, or changes in appietite?

The only way to know for sure if you are pregnant is to take a hpt or go to the doctor. At 9 weeks I wasn't showing at all and didn't have many pregnancy symptoms, but everyone is different. Also, at 9 weeks your belly will not be getting hard. I don't remember when mine actually felt harder but it wasn't until I started showing quite a bit. I think it gets hard because your skin is stretched and you have no room for anything (everything is shoved in there), but this is just a guess.
It is common to experience some bleeding in your first trimester but rare to be still having a period even if it is an abnormal period. I would suggest that you take a home pregnancy test. If it comes out negative and you still believe you are pregnant go to the doctor and get a blood test.
Best of luck!

Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? Let's start at the beginning and go from there. Take a HPT using first morning urine, then post back the results.
