I got a court hearing notice, for a credit card that I do not remember having. The credit card never sent anything to me, like bills or letters about owing them. The people they sold the debt to never contacted me either. The only time I received anything, was when I got a notice to show up for court. The court hearing has been changed twice by the company sueing me. I would like to know, what I should do, since I never heard of them, and was never contacted by them until now. I have no number to contact them, and When I look up the companies name, I get three different addresses. Please give me some ideas on what to do.

I would start by checking your credit report to see if anything shows up on there. Someone might have gotten a card in your name fraudulently? If it is not your debt, then they would not have your real signature on anything. Show up at the court date and ask for proof that it is your account, and something you signed for?

These are just some ideas that might help?
