I wasn't sure where to post this, was looking a little advice please.

I joined a recruitment agency, got offered a job and started last wedsneday.
everything was going good, I had no time off, wasn't late, yesterday was a normal day, I did my work and went home. When I got home there was a call from the agency saying I was no longer needed for the two month contract. They wouldn't tell me what I did wrong and now they will not return my calls or emails.

I called my "boss" last night to ask him what was going on, he told me he knows nothing and the agency hadn't contacted him at all, he also said he does need me to cover for a woman who is going into hospital, not just me, he needs more people too. He doesn't know why the agency told me not to bother going to work anymore.

now, I am jobless just before christmas, no money as I still haven't been paid yet for the time I was there, and its not just some random agency, its diamond recruitment, in the UK.
nobody will tell me what I did wrong, so when I go for my next job what am I supposed to say when they ask me why I was fired from my previous job?

I am just a little confused as to what I did wrong and why nobody will tell me anything other than "dont bother coming back to work"
also after I was fired I went onto the jobcentre website to see my job had been put back up, they want someone to start asap!
I forgot to mention, yesterday when I was in work, my boss was actually telling me what I was going to be doing today!

I looked them up on the search engine and all I saw was their websites and

A complaint of someone that said they told them they would be paid £10 an hour, instead they are getting £5.

Sometimes a place can let you go just because they want to or they might play favors and give the job to a friend or relative. I would have no idea if either of these are the case.

Hi, thank you for your reply, where did you find the complaint? I have looked but cannot find it.

Thanks, I found it. Thank you for that, seems I'm not the only one to be duped by them, I have still not received my pay from them two weeks later!
