My Bf' ex has placement of their 2 children, & they come to see us once a month. I have a list of things the children say about her; what she does, how she's never home, how they're dropped off @ strangers homes & doesn't see them for a week, how her Bf's are mean; & things that slip out of her mouth, that suggests she neglecting & not keeping the children's best interst @ hand. My Bf called child services & they told him, he has no "proof" & they wouldn't make any claim against her. She lives in Minnesota & we live in Iowa, so it's not like we can just "pop" in on them to see what's up. HOW do I PROVE she's a bad parent; so we can get custody of the kids?

This sounds so familiar... we went through the same thing in June. You can win this and do something about it but you have to be strong and not let emotion get in the way. I know is very hard. The mother was found guilty of child abuse/neglect not only by the judge but by the state of ill. She ducked and ran before she went to jail.

Same thing is happening to me my husbands ex neglets my 7 year old step son .
1. She does not bath him( when we see him which is every other weekend he's wearing the same underwear and sock that I send him with.
2. He comes home with bruses in places is not common for him to get hurt.(example: He came with a brused hand when I asked him what had happen he said he fell out of a tree.
3. He was had a pair of shoes with a big whole in the bottom. When My husband confronted her she said" I told him i was gonna buy him a new pair on sunday" Lady it was Wednesday.
4. My step son is really skinny and pale I ask him if they feed him and he said he only eats soup and ceral.
I can't stand this lady she has 3 kids from different parents and only file for my husband to pay her child support/ plus she gets foodstaps, cash aid, Wic. I wish my husband would so something about it but it seems he's 2 scared of her, What should I do?
