Hello, everyone.

I live in Massachusetts and have a criminal record. How does this affect my ability to receive financial aid, if at all? (Can you specifically tell me for MA and non-MA states? Is there a difference?)

Thank you very much and God bless.

Greetings and WELCOME to the site, Amy!

What kind of financial aid is it that you are inquiring about? Living, schooling, etc. We may need to move your question to the appropriate topic area, since this area is for introductions only and not questions.

Thank You and God Bless You Too!

There have been various threads on financial aid for those who have been convicted of a crime.

You need to go to the college of your choice and apply there - your financial aid officer would be the one to know where the grants and loans and scholarships are.
