I have an American Standard furnace that's about 2 years old and a few days ago the heat stopped working. The heat has been working off and on for a few days. It was working all day today until about a half hour ago, all that was coming out was air from the fan inside the furnace, and when I tried to shut it off it wouldn't shut off. If anyone has any idea what the problem might be I would be very grateful.
Also when I turn the heat on the flame will light shut off real quick and relight. And it will keep doing this till I shout it off.

Somewhere is the burner's flame you have a flame sensor, this is a wire mounted into a ceramic post and one wire connected to it, I think if you will take this out and clean it with a fine sand paper it might work. Let me know if it doesn't work, I have other ideas.

Im not sure where the flame sensor is located but could that be causing the fan to get stuck on and the flame to keep shutting off and relighting?
Thanks for the reply.

If the indicator light isn't on when the blower is running, you could have a problem with the control voltage. Otherwise, if the indicator light is blinking, it is a trouble code.
Post back with what you find.
