Hi, I'm having a difficult time trying to make the tenant to pay rent, how do I get them to pay??
I live in santa clarita,ca I gave them the 3 day to quit and the 30 day move out.
Now what other step must I do to get them out?

Hello brendonv:

You can find your solution in your states landlord/tenant act. We have a copy right here for your perusal at the top of this forum on a "sticky note".

Not only will it tell you what your next step should be, it'll tell you ALL the steps. They ARE the rules of the landlord business, which is your chosen line of work. You should be intimately familiar with them. After all, you wouldn't play poker without knowing the rules, would you?

You may have notices there are dozens of forums here. The Forum Help area is for asking questions about using the site. So I've moved your question to real estate law. You should also start your own question rather than piggyback on someone else's thread.

If the tenant won't pay you evict them. The evictin process varies from area to area. Your local county court should be able to tell you the procedure. It sounds like the next step is a requesting a court to order the eviction, which may involve a hearing. Once the court orders the eviction you can hire a sheriff to enforce it.
