This is my first post, so thanks in advance for any help. I'm finishing my basement & am installing a pair of Marley electric baseboard heaters in parallel. I've got the basics done: double 20 amp breaker, 12ga wire, Double line break thermostat. Here's the issue: The units will accept left or right hand connection, but the wiring at either end is different. The right side simply has the red & black wires joined by a wire nut. The left side (my preferred side) has the red wire exiting from the lower portion with a pre-terminated connector plugged directly into the connection above it. Right next to where the red wire connects, the black wire is exiting & wire nutted to the black lead coming from the other side. Obviously, both black & white leads from my feed are hot, but what the heck am I supposed to do at the left side? The directions are less than through. Again, thanks in advance for anybody who's installed one of these before & can give me an idea on how to wire this up properly. - Rob5552
