OK I met him through my ex b/f. he is funny, cute, and makes me laugh. Plus when we hang out wich is often he lets me hold his hand and he holds mine. When the subject comes up about likeing each other he gets really confusing. So what should I do

Take a chanch. Might work out, might not. Or just move slow and take your time and he will come around. Some people move slower than others. How patient are you and when you feel the right time is to move it up a level be honest about it. Work on it and see where this takes you. Best to start as friends, but some people are afraid of taking that extra step because they do not want a chanch to lose friendship if it does not turn out.

Look--if you lose a person's friendship over liking them more than as a friend, then at least one of you isn't mature enough to handle a relationship anyway.
Of COURSE it's going to be awkward. Any time you try something new, it's awkward at first.
However--if he feels the same way about you, and it's really love--ya'll shouldn't even need to talk about it. It will just BE there. Neither of you will be seeing anyone else, you'll turn to each other first about everything, and you'll never run out of stuff to talk about.
My advice is to leave things alone for now, and not try to force the issue. Just continue liking him/loving him. If he returns your feelings, things will progress in their own time without either of you trying to "make" it happen.

I think you'd better ask him for an answer! It would better for both of you before you go deeper! Sometimes man is as difficult as woman to be understood, he may enjoy to make you laugh happy, enjoy to stay with you,but he may not enjoy to have serious relationship with you! Ask him and check it out! The sooner, the better!
