I settled on a highly advanced hijab that can assume the color of any environment or outer clothing. Example: A young woman dons a leather jacket, chaps, black leather gloves, knee-high boots ,and a motorcycle helmet with a visor. She has dressed in protective gear for a motorcycle ride. The hijab underneath would change its color accordingly.
Example II: A muslim "amazon" is fighting in polar regions of a planet. Her outer body armor is snow white to match the environment. The armor and hijab change color to greenish-brown when the girl steps on to the ground in warmer climate.
Cool, huh?

I think it is your imagination running wild but then this is supposed to be fiction... :)
My one advise on hijab would be that if you wish to call the costume of your heroins as an Islamic hijab-
It should not be transparent
Should not be tight enough to make the shape of the woman apparent
And it should not resemble clothes worn by the men.

Cybernetic Hunter armor is form fitting but the hijab covers that. I just want make something that is acceptable and creative at the same time. Ok?

Lucas,
If the dress is form fitting it would not really be called the right form of hijab, but then as this is fiction...

The hijab covers the body armor, only the armor is form fitting not the hijab.
