If interested in learning arabic,

I was told that written Arabic is different from spoken. True? I would love to learn more than "la, mish mumkin!"

Perhaps it's possible for you to start teaching and people learning Arabic on this thread? I know that I would be able to teach people beginning piano on a thread. Have thought about doing that...

So, since I speak English, are the Arabic words pronounced just like I would pronounce them if I sounded them out as though they were English words? I hope that makes sense.

Ezayek sonic123. I think this is cool too. I have a couple of arabic friends, they get embarrassed or shy for some reason when I ask what something they said means. So it would be pretty cool to be able to say something to them in arabic. That wouldn't be considered rude would it?
