I have a Carrier Thermidistat Thermostat. It is 6 1/2 years old. My problem is when raising or lowing the temp. (either heat, or A/C) or checking outside temp, the thermostat will turn itself completely off. I have to wait for it to come back on. My fear is, one of these it just will not come back on. Any suggestions, can this one be fixed? Thanks.:)

If you have your original paperwork you may try to reprogram if it is a digital one. If the thermostat is losing power you will need to see what is causing that.

How do you turn off outside temp. on a bryant thermidistat as it is on a unit without outdoor sensor
