My Kenmore top loading washer model #110.20712990 sometimes does not pump out the water or spin after it does pump it out. I held down the button and it started to spin when I spun the basket by hand. It also is making a squeeking noise now as well as I noticed a "hot" smell just today. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the drive coupling may have broke, plastic piece between motor and drum. Good luck
