I was involved in a common law relationship where I was told to leave our home!
I left with only my clothes, and I was wondering 3 years later if I can sue him?
Is there a time frame? What is the law for Ontario Canada?

In some places common law is treated more like landlord tenant law. The Judge would also throw it out *most likely* saying that you should have had plenty of time to get your stuff within the first month or so and if you wanted your stuff back bad enough you would have gotten it well before three years. Also you would have to pretty much have an itemized list and value to be able to get anywhere.
But that is from what I have seen and I don't know your circumstances, Canadian law or anything.
