Is there a chemical that will dissolve hair in a bathroom sink?

I've used a foam type drano in the bathtub drain for hair and it works very well for me, it comes in a brown plastic bottle. I use it about every 3 mo. When the drain starts getting real slow.

I've used the standard drain cleaner for this (they have some designated for hair clogs) and I've been using an occasional enzyme treatment in the bathrooms where my girls with long hair frequent as a preventative measure. Seems to be working so far.

Another thing you can also do is after you get the clogs out once or twice a month fill the lav almost full with nothing but hot water and let it drain out... it will help to get the grease off the inside of your pipes and thus cut down on hair getting stuck to there insides.
