I lost my instructions as well. Check the back of the timer... At the bottom it says that C is for clock set, P is for program start time, and E is for program end time... This should help. Don't forget that the small light at the bottom of the screen is for PM... Good Luck!

Read the fine print listed on the back of the timer!
1. plug in timer
2. a "C" means push the upper button until your current time is displayed to the nearest hour. Note PM has a dot
3. hit bottom mode button and repeat procedure to set timer's start time
4. hit bottom mode button again and set timer's end time.
You're done

FIRST... masturbate, because it always makes you feel better when you are frustrated.
The one button is for mode (C,P,E) and the other is for changing the time(s).
C=clock, to the nearest hour
P=program start time
E program end time
.(next to a number)=signifies PM
