I’m 53 years old, educated so long ago that it’s un-important now… Had a realistic dream some three years ago started writing it down and haven’t stopped since. Three books (Intercepted Thoughts #1, Disputed Territory.. Earth #2, Earth Dispatch One #3) one short story “A Hastening of Maturity” and than a series of twelve some-what comical short stories called “Still-A-Hunter” are pilling up… I would like to see if my new-found obsession is marketable.. My writing, I think, is fast moving, informative, tells a good story and is good decent literature. If you want to enjoy a good clean story without offensive language or content my stuff will work. I know there is a market out there, somewhere... Can anyone Help.. ljones

first writer - Writing Resource & Author Website (http://www.firstwriter.com)
Write and Publish Your Book (http://www.writeandpublishyourbook.com)

These sites may help you a bit
Rather why don't u visit your area and find some publisher...
And to know the publishers of your writing style... visit a library and see the section which
Suited best for your books and note down the NAMES and ADDRESSES of publishers
These days publishing a book over net is also famous...
A short story competition is still available right now on second site... and win $50

Hope this will help you bit

To get a realistic point of view, try attending a writer's conference. They usually have professionals- editors and agents- who will review your manuscript for marketability and writing style. Plus the conferences are a great way to network with other writers.

You can find a conference by searching on the net, or by going to the library/bookstore and checking out the magazines in the writing sections.
