I have two cats, a male and female. They are both fixed. The girl is very gassy. She passes gas more than any cat I have ever had. She does more than my dog does.
She eats Purina Indoor cat food. She drinks plenty of water and is healthy otherwise. I don't have a problem with it, but is it normal?

It's normal for her to have gas every once in a while. Are her bowel movements regular and (not to be gross) but are her stools regular? If you are worried, it may be a gastroinestinal proble, and you should talk to your vet and he may also talk to you about switching to a different food, perhaps she is just sensitive to that food, but don't switch herfoods around a lot, it may cause her to not eat or be nervous or a number of other things. If her bowel movements and stools are otherwise normal, I don't think gas is a huge problem unless she seems to be suffering.

Her stool is normal, it looks like the other cats. She does not appear to be in any discomfort. I'm not bother by it, I just never had a cat that was so gassy.
Thank you for your response.

Yea there's probably not anything wrong, but you could still call your vet and ask him what to feed a gassy cat, but I wouldn't worry too much. My cat gets a little smelly every once in a while hah.
