I have a weather proof CH main lug load center, grounded to earth, rated at 125 amps, with space for 4 breakers. I will be removing the 4 breakers and putting in a 100 amp breaker. From this 100 amp breaker, I will be running wires, less than a foot to a new CH 125 amp outdoor load center with 16 circuits. The old load center will function as a main breaker and the new center will function as the supply for my camp. This will be mounted on pressure treated wood and attached to the power pole at my camp.
Am I doing this right? What size wire should I use for a 2 ft. run between load centers? I will have two hot lines coming in; a neutral and a ground. Do I hook the neutral and ground wires to the Ground Bar as in a normal installation?
Thanks for your help. Have I missed anything?

You can use either 3- #3 copper or #2 aluminum wire for the two hot legs and one neutral, and a #8 equipment ground conductor.

In the subpanel, the neutral needs to be connected to insulated neutral bar, and the equipment ground wire needs to be connected to an additional equipment ground bar that is bolted directly to the panel using machine screws. Use the neutral bar for white neutrals, and the equipment ground bar for bare or green ground wires.
