Okay so I got my nose pierced like a month and a half ago and for a few weeks now, I've had like a bump on my nose. I was told to just use my h2ocean spray and it hasn't really worked, I've been told to wash it with sea salt and nothing. Is it a keloid? Or will it go away. Most people who have gotten their nose pierced say that its normal but it hasn't gone away and I'm like seriously over it. How can I get rid of it? Thanks in advance for your input. <3:confused:

Has the piercing been infected? If not, it sounds like what I call an "irritation bump", which pretty much means something is being done to the piercing that it doesn't like, causing it to be irritated. I have had these bumps before, and if you take care of your piercing properly they will almost always go away.
One of the biggest mistakes you can do with a piercing is washing with sea salt or h2ocean only. Your piercing must be cleaned with antibacterial soap once a day. I personally do not recommend using salt at all, because it can be very drying to your piercing.
Clean your piercing once a day with antibacterial soap, and other than that, dont touch it. Not touching it unless necessary is very important in trying to get that bump to go away. This means don't twist it, play with it, or change the jewelry. Just leave it alone. I would recommend discontinuing the use of the h2ocean and salt soaks, but if you must use them, use them once a day only. Overuse of these types of products are more harmful than helpful.
Don't fret over this bump, they can be very common with piercings. It doesn't mean you intentionally did something wrong to put it there. There are many factors that can cause this and its usually not anyone's fault. Good luck and let me know how it turns out. :)

It's true, I never use the salt, I cleaned all my piercings with warm water first, and then antibacterial dial.
