Wat is TNS protocol adapter error in oracle?
Hw can it b removed?

Check your tns configuration file in network/admin folder. If not configure through net manager

I am getting the following error

Ora-12560:TNS:Protocol adapter error
Please advice .

Is the database on same server ? If yes, set ORACLE_SID and try to connect again. If not, check TNSNames.
How are you trying to connect ?
