Ok here are the facts of my situation...

Age 37
1 misscarriage 4 years ago
Off birth control for 5-6 years
Trying to conceive for 3 months
Last period October 20 2007
30 day cycles, always regular

I'm now 2 weeks late, I've taken several home pregnancy test. I waited till now to call my doctor because I wanted to be two weeks late first. They told me to wait a little longer before I come in. I have not been sick occasionally yucky in the belly. The first week I was very crampy with back pain now that comes and goes. The unusual thing for me is I always have sore breasts and haven't yet. Which is usually a good first sign of pregnancy.
I sure want to be pregnant and was wondering if maybe it is just too early to test positive for ME. Has anyone ever had negative test and then found out they were actually pregnant the whole time?

It may be early if your HCG level is low... if your doctor won't test you at 2 weeks, wait another week and try again, if they still won't test you then, go to another doctor, I suppose. Good luck if you're hoping for a baby!

Thanks... Yes we are hoping for a baby, I just want to get on with trying if I'm not. So until I start my period I'll rmain HOPEFUL!
