Was using spyware terminator, but for some reason it stopped working,so I uninstalled it then reinstaled it again, but still would'nt work,so now I'm trying out spyware detector & super anti-spyware & a-squared free,so far so good,if these stop working for what-ever reason, another member told me some good sites to look at,so I will check them out. Thanks

I have a couple of favorite free programs to suggest that should meet your hijacker/spyware needs. This class of software usually can be layered so many users will often run a couple of them. This layering will not work for antivirus or firewall software so be careful that it is appropriate. Microsoft Windows Defender is an excellent program as is BOClean from Comodo (the name may seem to imply that it is simply a browser object blocker which is not the case). I have also been very pleased with Spyware Terminator but this seems to be giving you problems so just try one of the many others available.:)

A good place to find other free software in this class is Free Internet Security Software's Antispyware Area (http://freeinternetsecuritysoftware.com/free-antispyware-software.htm). They keep adding more programs and are quite current. I have downloaded lots of good security freeware through this site!:D
