Don't stress. Stressing out about not getting pregnant when you want to will actually cause a delay in getting pregnant. A stressed out body is not the ideal environment for a growing fetus.
There are some people that may disagree with me on this one, but don't have sex every single day. Every other day is sufficient. Having sex every other day will give your mate's sperm count a chance to build back up.
Don't drink or smoke. Make your body as baby friendly as you can. Take some prenatal vitamins; they won't aid you in getting pregnant, but they will prepare your body for pregnancy.
Just relax. Keep in mind that these things don't usually happen when you want them to happen, they happen when your body feels the time is right. Make the most out of being with your partner, don't let your whole world revolve around trying to conceive, or it could become a "chore". It could take up to a year for a healthy couple to conceive, so don't fret if it doesn't happen right away. It will happen when the time is right. :)

In general, you ovulate (the egg comes out) about 14 days after the start date of your period. The four days both before and after that 14th day are your most fertile time.

Thanks... I try not to stress out about it but its hard sometimes. My boyfriend really doenst help either because he always tells me "baby if you're pregnant you would make me the happpiest man in the world" or "I want a little shortie running around" I have been taking vitamins for about a month and I try to take care of my body by eating right and exercising. Im also suppose to make an appointment next week with the gyno. Its my first time so I don't what to expect
The four days both before and after that 14th day are your most fertile time.
This is somewhat incorrect as the egg, once released is only viable for conception for 12 - 24 hours not 4 days. However, sperm can last in our bodies for up to 3 days.
he always tells me "baby if you're pregnant you would make me the happpiest man in the world" or "I want a little shortie running around"
Then tell him to marry you first. Have you read all of the threads here about how the boyfriend took off when times get tough? Well, they do, especially if the pregnancy is high risk and/or there are problems, whether permanent or temporary, with baby after delivery.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but I would hate for you to be one of the gals that comes back after a few months wanting him to give up his rights for one reason or another. It's easier, and cheaper, for a guy to walk out if there is no marriage certificate.
Jesushelper76 agrees: Even when there is a marriage certificate some people still find it easy to walk away.
But it's much more expensive with a marriage certificate than without.
"I want a little shorty running around"!! Are you kidding me?! It doesn't sound like you guys want kids for the right reason. You sound a little immature for such a huge responsibility.
