I had a hysterectomy done on my right side, on 9/12/2007, the left side's still in working order, and I am only 26, no kids yet... Each time I've gotten my period since,I've not really been bleeding at all, I've also been taking the pill for that 2 month time as well to keep the cyst on the left small, I cramp like my period's about to start than nothing but light semi dark colored spot, off and on but no blood like normal for the last 2 months.. Its this normal? Also wanted to know while on the pill can you become pregnant?
I'm a little at a loss as what to do at this point, any info would be greatly appreciated.

First of all you can only get pregnant on the pill if you don't take them every day. So if you miss even one you are at risk of becoming pregnant.

I'm confused, you cannot have half a hysterectomy. A hysterectomy means that the uterus is removed and you cannot remove half a uterus.

Did you have an Oophorectomy? That is where one or both ovaries is removed. Or a Salpingectomy? (Fallopian tubes removed).

Everything on my right side only was removed, cyst was twisted and wrapped around the ovary and the fallopian tube, so they took it all out.
