I live in Texas and we have slabs where the plumbing is embedded in the slab ( no basement). I am building a summer kitchen with a sink (which needs a drain) close to a clean out line (10ft away) that runs down the house side wall and through the slab and not sure where else.

If I want to add a drain for my summer kitchen which is 10 feet away and the summer kitchen slab is the same level as the house slab, do I
* dig under the house slab and find a tie in or
* do I break the slab concrete to get to the line or
* do I break above the slab where the house brick starts and try to tie in?(btw- if I break the brick, it would place my tie in higher than the summer kithen slab)

I meant 10ft away not 910 away.

If the sink will be on a outside wall why not save yourself the hassle of tearing up the slab and simply run a stack up, the outside wall and stub out to pick up the sink. You could connect to the sewer on the outside. That way your sink would be vente4d and drained without tearing up your place. Good luck, tom
