Has anyone heard of the Perfect Pegasus argument for proving the existence of God? When I took an introductory philosophy class in university, my professor used this argument and attributed it to a particular philosopher. I'd like to read about it again, but it's several years since I took the course and I don't remember who the philosopher was. It was possibly Immanual Kant or Rene Decartes. Thanks for any help!

It was suggested by Gassendi in criticism of Descartes.

Here are a couple of helpful links (http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&newwindow=1&safe=off&q=%22Perfect+Pegasus%22Gassendi&btnG=Search).
