Ummmmm... I was not there to verify if he did or did not. But I would wager that he did. The man was an astute observer of his fellow man and the human condition.
You can Google your question and come up with resources about this.

It is a question that will go down in history. Whilst some say he didn't [and say they have evidence to suggest], there is equal belief and support that he did. Sorry it's no help but that's the way it is.

I just love a good Renaissance conspiracy theory! I personally believe he wrote some and other people wrote some, like Sir Francis Bacon and Edward de Vere (the Earl of Oxford).
I see his body of work as being, well, too extremely massive, deep, spiritual and insightful for just one person. His insight of human nature alone is just too uncanny.

Um... I also heard rumors... that it was sir francis bacon who wrote shakespeare's plays, not actually shakespeare. Some people think the earl of oxford, but there's a significant amount of source that says that several plays were written after the earl of oxford's death...

This question goes right along with questions like, "Is Elvis still alive," "Was Jesus married to Mary Magdalene," etc...
If you need to write a report on Shakespeare, you might try reading and understanding him before you worry about whether he wrote them or not.

And sorry for the acidic answer, but people might try reading a work before judging its more abstruse aspects.
