Hello every body who you are responsible to answer my question.
I have bought toshiba laptop since the last two monthes and I was enjoying in having doing with it. But uffortunatly, now it stops to operate properly ,at first it starts as if it were good (it accepts user acount and starts to boot the system ) but it can't display where the start menu is? It only shows the black sceern with a visible poiner only so would mined helping me in finding the problem and the solution?

Hello,

First I would try to start vista in Safe mode (hit f8 while booting) to see if it will load the way it should be there. If it does you might have installed a program or driver that is loaded when you login and gives Vista hickups. When in Safe Mode go to the Control Panel, then Windows Defender -- in Defender click on Tools, there you find Software Explorer, once it opened make sure it says "startup programs" in the field "Category". Most likely you can ignore all entries under Microsoft Coop. other then that carefully examine the listed items and disable them so they don't start up on boot.
