Help:

The reading on my CT3200 is higher from the room temperature by at least 2 degrees Celsius during the heating season. I measured the temperature with a digital thermometer which read 20 degrees Celsius and my CT3200 was reading 22 degrees Celsius. It's on an inside wall which is well insulated with no drafts.

How do I get the correct reading on my CT3200?

There may be no drafts in the room, but have you checked to ensure there are no drafts coming through the wall where the wires attach to the thermostat? Maybe plug the hole with insulation or what-have-you. It doesn't take much of a draft there to make a difference.

If this doesn't solve the problem there there are only two options: 1) replace the thermostat (perhaps call Honeywell for a warranty replacement?) or 2) turn your heat down to compensate for the inaccuracy. There is no way that I am aware of to re-calibrate a digital thermostat.
