Hello Advisor

RE: Hospital Development Project

We have tackled the initial key hurdles including financing & government permits.
I have put together the key elements of the steps below, but if anyone has experience or can point me to a site/agency that has conducted such projects previously to get a clear indication of the areas I am missing. Also, good companies that provide (a) medical staff & practitioners and (b) medical equipment etc

Please let me know.

General Notes:-
(1) Project is in the Caribbean Islands - materials & personnel will need to be imported
(2) Planned site will be approximately spread over 25 acres +
(3) The majority areas of medical care will be included.

Project Schedule

2. Formation of company
3. Complete Business Analysis and Project Breakdown
a. Discussions with Architects and Project Managers
4. Acquisition of Medical Facility
5. Management Team Discusses and Hires Key Project heads
a. Hiring of Project Development Team
b. Appointment of design Team
c. Appointment of Admin, Real Estate and Legal Team
6. Project Design Approval and Assessment
7. Refurbishment of Facility
8. Acquisition of land for the new facility
9. Commencement of Construction
10. Acquisition of Equipment needed for new facilities
11. Recruitment of Personnel needed for new facilities
12. Completion of new facility

All help would be appreciated.

Best Regards

Alex

Yes, this is a very great school work project, the first thing you learn is that you have to do your own work. Good luck

Dear Chuck,

I wish this was a school project - then the worst I could do is fail. However, it is a real life, brick & mortar project. I have a commodities, finance & funding background and have no formal industrial construction or architectural background. So would like a starting spot. I have not revealed a number of the key players or the site due to confidentiality issues that might arise.

Thanks for your comment. But I thought that this site was for those who needed help - however obsure.

I agree with Fr_Chuck. Looks like a school project to me.

If it was a real life, brick in mortar project like you say it is, then you obviously would have had to already have assembled a large team of players and also proven that your "ducks are in order" in order to obtain financing & government permits for such a project. In essence, most of what you have outlined in your initial question should have already been answered in order to obtain financing and government permits.

Interesting that someone who claims to be the CEO of ITC eGroup which is a Trading House / Wholesaler / Agent and Distributor of Sugar, Cement, Urea, Oils (Crude) to/from North America. Is asking a question on this site about a hospital development in the Caribbean Islands project at all. Also interesting, that someone claiming to be a CEO evidently doesn't know how to use a spell check.

It's also interesting that same person asked another organizing a business type question on the following link at about the same time as posting the question on this thread. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/business-plans/fashion-label-model-photo-talent-agency-bp-155479.html (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/business-plans/fashion-label-model-photo-talent-agency-bp-155479.html)

It looks like someone is going to be really busy working on multiple businesses to be developed as well as running a company that distributes sugar, cement, urea and crude oils!

In reply to the above no, we don't provide the answers to homework questions here. We do however, assist people in coming up with the correct answers as long as they show that they have made an attempt at answering the questions they have been given themselves. It is about teaching. What have you learned, alextoon888?

If you really are who you say that you are, please put something in your profile that is verifiable. Fr_Chuck already has done that, as well as myself.

Thank you!
