I have a trailer that had a propane stove. I had a 220 line installed for an electrical range. The problem is the burners do not get very hot. Anyone know a solution to my problem? Please help.

I hope the new line was a 3 conductor with ground. It needs to start with a double pole breaker. Now and then somebody gets ahold of a twin or tandem breaker. They have 2 handles that are not linked together, but only one contact that feeds both wires off the same leg of the box. A double pole breaker has 2 contacts to connect to both legs of the box, and the handles are linked. Some only have one handle.

At the range, black and red go to the hots, white to the neutral, and bare is connected to the frame of the range.
