Hello yourself! You ask why and you answered your own question. He still is married, that is why. He gets full benefits from you without any of the legalities that come with a marriage. There is no reason for him to divorce his wife. Not until you kick his behind out and stop all contact with him UNTIL you see the divorce papers - see them for real, not just him talking about it.
