Eleven year old Goodman gas furnace. The main vent blower will start, but that's where things end. The draft inducer motor doesn't start and nothing else in the chain obviously happens after that. The LED on the board stays red and never flashes any codes.

I checked the voltage coming into the draft inducer motor and it's zero.

No voltage to the inducer and no codes? Is the control board my first place to start?

Thanks in advance!

Start at you thermostat,, jumper or tie the red and white together, this will bypass the thermostat if all works in sequence and furnace works your prob. May need a stat. the sequence is 1st the inducer motor, then the igniter, the then the gas valve opens to let gas into the burners, when it get hot enough the blower will come on,, a bad stat won`t show in your coding

That is it. Got too caught up in studying the furnace and didn't think about the obvious stat. I am about to wire in a new one.

Thanks so much.
