I have a 4 light ceiling fan in which one light constantly burns out. When a new bulb is replace it burns out repeatedly. What might cause this constant burn out?

If the socket holder rivet(inside bulb socket)is loose, it will be a loose connection and generate heat, may be what is blowing bulb.
Or the replacement bulbs are a bad batch.
I would use an existing bulb put in where bulb blows. Install a new bulb in the newly vacated socket.
See What blows, the new Bulb, or the bulb in the socket.

Fan vibration could affect one bulb more than another or poor air circulation. Any chance of either condition fitting your situation?

What type of fan light is this? The theory of checking the socket is a good one.

The answer received from this party seems interested in purchasing the fan rather than finding a solution to repair what is now the problem

Hey George, hope all is well, Ceilingfanrepair is trying to help you with the problem.
The remark at the bottom referring to interest in old fans are on all of his post. Not directed to your question, Good Luck.

Hi ballengerb1. I heard from others telling me the same. I responded by telling them that
Since I am new at this, I misunderstood his/her (Ceilings) intentions.
Have learned a lesson and will be careful in the future. Thanks for
Setting me straight.
