Do you have a lease, if so you can't even move out till the end of your lease. Do you have a written rental contract, many require a 60 day notice.
Are you on a weekly rental and so on.
Not near enough info to even guess an answer.

You do need to give your landlord some notice, you can't just leave. How much notice depends on avariety of factors.
It depends on your lease, the type of rental you have, the arrangement you have with the landlord, where you live and more.
