I pay $400.00 monthly to my exgirlfriend for child support. She also has medicaid and is on WIC. Is there any way I can lower my child support, because I also have bills and a family to take care of. She lives in TX. And I live in KS.

You would have to go through the courts again to settle that up.

Your child support payment is based on a federal guideline for your income. It cannot be lowered unless you take this to court, even then, you may not be so lucky as to get it lowered. It does NOT matter than your baby's Mom receives Medicaid and any other Social Services help. Do you think that should preclude you from paying? Have you ever tried being a single parent on welfare?
Do you have papers about your child support? Check and see how often there is a review. Generally the review is every 36 months. You always have the option of asking for a review. Get an attorney.

Unless you have switched jobs and are making less money from when the child support was originally ordered... no.
