When I told my sons father I was pregnant he left then when my son was 13 months old he came in and wanted to see him I let him he wanted a paternity test done I said OK well it came back that he was the father then he turned around and left now my son is 3 and I haven't heard a word from him can I get him for abandonment ? Have you filed for child support in the courts. The court will take the child support out of his paycheck. There is also an organization called supportkids.com maybe they can help you. Good luck to you and know that you are not alone.

Yea child support is set up I'm lucky if he pays every month there's times he don't pay
