Hello. I am 19 years old, and I still haven't had a girlfriend. When going out to meet girls, what do I say to them? What do girls like? Any advice would do. Thanks.

Things have changed a little since I started dating, but one thing I know that is true, is honesty, if you start out with a line bull poopy and you find that you really like this person down the road you will spend the rest of this relationship back peddling to get out of the lies you started out with. I read an article that Barns and nobles is supposed to be the best place to meet some one. At a party or other places like this you are competing with all the other tom turkeys.

Hey, I'm on a similar issue I'm eighteen years old and I haven't had a boyfriend? I really don't know what guys like or what should I talk to them about? Can you help me? For you I think that you should be yourself and to be always honest in everything. And to be respectful and be fun to hang sround with. That's what I like of a guy. :)

My brother was 19yrs old before he had his first girlfriend. He isn't a very confident guy and tends to be quite shy and quiet. Once you know him he really does come out of his shell - but it's breaking through the barrier.

I was much the same around guys when I was younger. Did not know what to do or how to act or even know what to say. Was scared I would make a fool of myself all the time. But as I have grown up I have learnt that I have to just be myself. If a guy does not like me for who I am then they are not worth it. It works the same for a guy - if a girl does like you for who you are then you have not lost anything.

When you meet someone you need to feel relaxed and comfortable. That's half the battle.

Not knowing what to say and what to do is just fear and lack of confidence. Being yourself is the key. It's nothing to worry about. That special someone who knows how to bring you out of your shell is out there for both of you! It will happen!!

I have heard pretty mcuh everything there is to hear from guys. Some good, some bad. But, what I always find that makes me attracted to another guy is his confidence in himself. I mean, he don't got to be the hottest guy in the world but if he knows how to carry himself then way to go. Except don't overdo it because then we'll just think you're cocky. And, I always like when I find unique things about guys. Something different can stir up a girl's curiosity. But most of all be yourself, no one likes a fake. Beside, you don't win anything with that, you have to keep the fakeness and when she finds out you are a wannabe she'll hat your guts! I know. If you are how you are and the girl don't like it then too bad, some other girl will. You just got to find the right one.
Have you heard of Pheromones?
Pheromones are naturally occurring substances the fertile body excretes externally, conveying an airborne message to trigger a response from the opposite sex of the same species.
They are all over the place, firing from people all the time. Someone is bound to like you and be with you in the end. See, It'll happen for you, one of these days. Be patient. Best of luck.

I'll tell you something I wish someone had told me when I was your age. Try more to make friends then to get a girlfriend.
Enjoy yourself. Find the things you like and go out and do them. While you're there you will find others you enjoy the same things and you will already have those things in common, so you'll have stuff to talk about. Don't be afraid to embarrass yourself sometimes. Just keep your sense of humor and keep things in perspective. This one minute is not your entire life. Remember, the girls are feeling the same thing you are feeling, so you can just say hi, I like (fill in what you like) about them. Have fun and try to keep your innocence and wonder about the world in tact.
