I just recently had a plumber come in a move my shower valve from one wall in my bathroom to another. Because we had torn out our shower and were putting in a tile shower stall. We just finished tiling over a year later(after finishing everything else like flooring etc) and we went to try out the shower and there is no hot water coming out of the shower. Does that mean that the valve is faulty?? Can someone give me any suggestions as to what it might be?? Help please?

Nah! It just means that your plumber disturbed some crud built up on the hot water pipe walls and not it's cloggingt the hot water inlet ports of the cartridge. The solution would be to shut off the water, open the valve up and check and clean the ports of the cartridge. Before you button up take and turn the water on for a minute to flush out the supplies and valve body. Good luck, Tom
