Pasta monster gets academic attention
Flying Spaghetti Monster gets laughs but also raises serious questions

Pasta monster gets academic attention - Technology & science - MSNBC.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21837499/?gt1=10547)

When some of the world's leading religious scholars gather in San Diego this weekend, pasta will be on the intellectual menu. They'll be talking about a satirical pseudo-deity called the Flying Spaghetti Monster, whose growing pop culture fame gets laughs but also raises serious questions about the essence of religion.

NeedKarma, you should be ashamed of yourself!

I could cry!! The Flying Spaghetti Monster seems to be catching on better than my one eyed one horned flying purple people eater!
The flying purple eater has a question and I KNOW the answer.
Is the flying purple people eater purple or does he eat purple people?

NK has tried to convert everyone here. I just can't seem to swallow their Dogma of having no Dogma. I need a lot of baggage with my religion, guilt and fear of rejection too. There is just something too simple about the FSM.

Well of course, the noodles are fun to slirp and the sauce is messy and it's just good stuff. What more could a kid ask for!
