I am twenty years old and I have always exercised, but now I am gaining weight even though I still workout. I eat normally, not too much or too little. I really want to lose my waist line. Besides crunches will jogging help get rid of it or another exercise.

Jogging will help, it's kind of a full body workout. Your metabolism may be slowing since you are no longer a child and this is why you might be losing weight. You may have to change your eating habits and cut a few calories or some sweets and fats as time goes on. Other exercises that will help are listed on this page, and you can probably find many more on Google.

I agree with the Metabolism thing! Also stress... I know that when I am stressing, I eat things sometimes that I don't remember putting in my mouth. Bad I know. I used to be a sleep walker... horrible for the waistline... just ad one more cardo in there, and maybe cut a few calories (stay within a good range for your age, height, and weight). And you'll see it melt off. Good luck to you. You seem to be a beautiful person... confidence is everything!

Remember muscle weighs more then fat. So you may be gaining muscle and that will account for the wieght gain.

If your budget permits, you may want to go to a local gym and inquire about personal training or see if they have a nutrition program. Exercise and nutrition is so vast it is really hard sometimes to understand why your body is reacting a certain way. I work for a gym in central CA and one of the major problems we have with people being over weight is they don't eat enough. Eating 1 or 2 times a day is horrible for your body, especially if you are regularly exercising. Proper nutrition mixed with cardio 3 times a week would probably help you lose that weight you want and feel much better about yourself. If you eat properly and eat between 5 and 6 times a day as well as work out, it would probably make a big difference.
