Flowmax works great in curing my bladder problems. But the side effect are almost as bad! Appreciate anyone's help in recommend something better. Paul

Some things you can take are:
G00D quality saw palmento is good. Poor quality without (or low %) active ingredient beta
Sitosterol you might as well be taking saw dust.
Beta-sitosterol seems to reduce the cholesterol level in the prostate. Beta-sitosterol might also work through its anti-inflammatory activity.

Some other things that would be helpful are zinc, you have to take copper with zinc because zinc depletes your copper. Zinc/Copper Dosage: 30 mg zinc and 2 mg copper a day. Add copper only when using zinc longer than 1 month. Be careful to not take too much of either. Follow proper dosage. Vitamin E is also good to enhance zinc

Essential fatty acids such as Flaxseed Oil
Dosage: 1 tbsp. (14 grams) a day.
Can be mixed with food; take in the morning.

Check with your doctor to make sure they can interact with your meds.


Also cut out greasy foods
Avoid anything with soy
If your uric acid is high eat lots of cherries and cherry syrup, the darker the better.

I noticed Herbal products mentioned. Was using a herbal tea that seemed to work good no side effects but discontinue to using this Flomax with side effects!
